Introducing the Testosteronology App™

I've been the Anabolic Doc™ since 2003, but I've always wanted to be able to reach more men than just my patients. My YouTube channel has helped with that, but now I'm excited to announce the Testosteronology™ App, which delivers personalized health information in an actionable format. Get organized video content including a digital history and physical exam, my ABCDs™ interactive health assessment, and exclusive access to me through my weekly Ask The Doc Live Q&As, where you can ask me questions. Members can also purchase deeply discounted lab panels without a doctor's prescription, use Ask Dr. O'Connor GPT, and get access to a private forum for subscribers. This App will help you manage your own health as well as get the most out of visits to your doctor. If you're a healthcare provider and want to get involved, click here.

Testosterone replacement & Anabolic recovery Medicine® consultations

Through my practice, Testosteronology®, I provide confidential, non-judgmental and medical care and consultations. Meet a compassionate doctor who understands how steroids impact overall health. I'm the  only Board Certified Internist in the U.S. who focuses his practice on the care of men and women who have used or are using anabolic steroids. I'm also the first American Physician to address steroid use head-on and offer my expert medical services for those who are concerned about how anabolic steroids can and may have adversely affected their health.

I’m currently offering 1-on-1 consultations and taking new patients on a case-by-case basis.

America On Steroids:
A Time to Heal

A Book by Dr. Thomas O’Connor MD

There is a burgeoning epidemic of anabolic steroids use staring us in the face, while being virtually ignored by the media, policymakers, and even medicine itself. Now that steroids users have grown to 4 million Americans, Dr. O’Connor has written a book that is targeted to a wider audience in the hope that it will trigger action both within and outside the AAS community.

Thomas O’Connor, MD

Dr. O'Connor is a board certified Internal Medicine physician and a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He is a published academic researcher, the creator of a personalized healthcare app: AnabolicDocApp.com, and the author of "America on Steroids: A Time to Heal." He is well known as the “Anabolic Doc” due to his skill and experience in caring for men on TRT and anabolic steroids. His expertise in this area has been sought by the world's top media outlets, including The New York Times, Medscape,  National Geographic, Hulu, Generation Iron, Muscle and Fitness, Vice TV, and more.

Dr. O’Connor created Testosteronology®, a sub-specialty of Internal Medicine after many years of caring for thousands of men on testosterone and anabolic steroids. No other medical specialty offers comprehensive and personalized medical services for men on androgens; Testosteronology is distinct from Endocrinology and Urology, as Testosteronology is more specific than Endocrinology, which deals with all hormones in men and women. And it is different from Urology, a surgical specialty that does not focus on the common medical aspects of how androgens effect men. These aspects include cardiovascular complications, adverse effects on red blood cell production (androgen induced erythrocytosis), psychological side effects of androgens, and other internal medicine related conditions.

Visit his YouTube Channel, @TheAnabolicDoc, for videos focused on androgen education and harm reduction. He covers specific steroids, their side effects, and the impacts  androgens have on the heart, kidneys, liver, sexual function, and other bodily systems. He also discusses TRT and provides information for patients and doctors to produce the best health outcomes possible.

• Graduate degree in Exercise Physiology - Master's Degree - Long Island University

• Co-Auther of the largest anabolic steroid survey, peer-reviewed journal: Characteristics and Attitudes of Men Using Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS): A Survey of 2385 Men; American Journal of Men's Health, November-December 1-12 2020.

• Featured expert in documentaries by National Geographic, Hulu, Vice TV, and Generation Iron
